Study Requirements

Before enrolling on the Assessor, IQA & EQA Career Bundle, learners must review the eligibility and practical requirements attached to each qualification.

You must already hold a relevant Level 3 assessor award that makes you eligible for the CAVA Top-Up.
The remaining CAVA requirement may involve assessment activity with at least two real learners or candidates.
Simulation is not permitted for practical assessor evidence.
The Level 4 Leading IQA Certificate requires genuine internal quality assurance practice and suitable access to assessors and learners.
Your employer, centre, manager or training provider should be aware of the practical requirements and willing to support access to evidence.
The Level 4 EQA Understanding Award develops EQA knowledge and does not by itself qualify the learner to carry out practical EQA activity.
