Knowledge-based assessment criteria may be evidenced through written assignments, reports, questioning or professional discussion. Criteria that require learners to demonstrate, use, select, prepare, adapt, assess, provide, support, monitor or manage must be evidenced through valid workplace performance or other appropriate practical evidence.

There is no traditional final examination. Assessment decisions are based on whether the portfolio provides valid, authentic, current, sufficient and reliable evidence of achievement.

Following assessor confirmation, your portfolio will undergo Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) and, where applicable, External Quality Assurance (EQA) and awarding organisation approval. If additional evidence or clarification is requested during the quality assurance process, you must provide the required information before certification can be finalised.

Certification is normally issued within 3–5 weeks following assessor confirmation, subject to successful completion of the required quality assurance and awarding organisation processes. Please note that this is an estimated timeframe and is not a guaranteed certificate issue date.
